pechaco asked: When I started to preheaing the oven, some funny smell which obviously didn’t come from food or any food stain in the oven, came out. It was something like ammonium-kind of smell. I don’t think it was from cleaner either. It was just horrible and unpleasant. I felt a little headache after that. Does anybody know what this kind of smell come from and how to get rid of?

Frank R asked: I’ve just got fine bed linens and I have been sleeping much better with them, so I wonder about recommendations of good laundry detergent to wash them in a washing machine that keep the bed linens with this good sleep feeling for a longer time.

LJ1010 asked: I recently moved into an apartment and the cabinets smell bad, it even makes the glasses smell funny, I tried cleaning them out with lysol but now it smells worse. My landlord said they were recently painted and maybe that is why they smell but didn’t recommend any solutions, anyone have any ideas on how to get that awful smell out.

Jay W asked: I washed a black (like velvet) jumper with cotton sheets and now my sheets (a taupe colour) and pillow cases are just covered in fine black fluff….doh! I washed them a second time on their own, but that didn’t help they’re still covered in the fine black fluff.
Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can get them back to normal.
